Davis CollegeIn 1881, Matthew H. Davis left his chairmanship in the mathematics department and his position as director of the business department at Albert College in Belleville, Ontario, Canada, to manage the Toledo Business College. The small school of 35 students, which had been established in 1858, rapidly grew to 350 students. Davis College is a private, two-year college in Toledo, Ohio, United States. The school is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a member of the North Central Association, and recognized by the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools.
